The reason I joined the Gienne family was that it was the peak of the epidemic, and my company at the time didn't need so many staff, so I started looking for a new job. Gienne happened to be away from Hong Kong for a while and needed more people to help look after the Taikoo Shing pop-up store. At that time, I was actually a long-term customer of Gienne and had known Gienne for some time. After he understood my situation, by chance, Gienne invited me to work in Taikoo Shing.
Gienne's "Rebirth" products have truly given me a new lease on life. I didn't know how to manage the stress in my life, and it was affecting my body. My skin was in terrible condition. You couldn't see any intact skin on my face. Imagine my skin was like the surface of the moon. And every pimple wasn't just a blackhead; every blemish was acne. Even though I look much better now, you can still see the marks left by acne on my face.
"Enlightenment" The product Gienne recommended to me at that time was the Harmony line. To this day, Harmony is still my favorite series. It not only helps me reduce inflammation and redness, but its fragrance also helps me relax and soothe my emotions. It is also my enlightenment product for essential oil aromatherapy. It has helped me understand my preferences better. It turns out that I really like the smell of hibiscus. I also want to continue to understand myself better and make friends with myself through aromatherapy and essential oils.
"Sharp Change" Although I've only been at the Science Park for about two months, I've actually felt a significant change. I used to be terrified of talking to strangers. Even taking an order at a restaurant would take me a while to think. Although I'm a bit less nervous now that I'm older, it was after this event that I really started to learn what "communication" is.
Communication is a profound skill. Not only do you need eloquence, but you also need an ear for listening, the ability to understand your customers' true inner thoughts, a strong sense of humor that puts them at ease, and a resilience that's unafraid of embarrassment or being ignored. If you lack even one of these qualities, you might not be able to successfully communicate with others and convince them of your expertise and your company's products.
"Warmth." Although I've only been working at Gienne Family for a short year, I've already developed a sense of belonging. Growing up, I've never felt a sense of belonging to a place, whether it was school or work. I simply felt it was just an ordinary place. But Gienne Family is different, and it makes me want to stay even more. Working here, unlike working at another company, is a warmer place. Gienne Family has taught me how to warm others and, in turn, warm my own heart. Gienne exemplifies this, setting an example for me, showing how to influence others through her own life.
There's something I'd love to share with everyone about my vision. One day, I was back at work with Gienne, and we were discussing whether to use international brands or local Hong Kong brands when introducing our company to clients. Zixin preferred international brands because many of her clients were from all over the world. Later, we came to the conclusion internally that international brands that originated in Hong Kong would be best. Hong Kong is our roots, and international brands are our goal. However, no matter how far we go, we must never forget our roots. I also really want to help Gienne successfully expand beyond Hong Kong, into the international arena, and become a Hong Kong leader.
